Hail Merry Bites™ #MomsMeet Review

With a soy allergy I have a hard time finding quick snacks and goodies I can eat without having to make them from scratch.

Don’t get me wrong. I love cooking but sometimes a girl just needs to grab a sweet off the shelf.

When Mom’s Meet askd me to review Merry Bites™ from Hail Merry, and after I checked out the ingredients, I almost wept with joy (seriously).

What are Merry Bites™

Merry Bites™ are yummy snacks made with ingredients such as virgin coconut oil, and sweet almond flour. Since these cookies are FRESH they do best refrigerated.
Merry Bites™ come in six flavor:

  • Salted Brownie
  • Pure Vanilla Macaroon
  • Lemon Macaroon
  • and Dark Chocolate Macaroon

Phew!

They also do not contain highly-refined sugars or flours.

ALLERGY WARNING:

All Hail Merry Bites products do contain nuts. The Dark Chocolate Merry Bites are almond free.

My Taste Test With Merry Bites

I received 6 mini snack packets of Merry Bites in each of the flavors. One full size package of Chocolate Chip Merry Bites. 2 coupons for more Merry Bites. A hat. A t-shirt, and nice red tin to hold it all in.hail-merry-kit-2

What can I say? I chomped into the Chocolate Chip Merry Bites first. Yumm!

The cookies… I mean healthy bites were nice and soft with a tiny bit of chew from the coconut.  They are also adequately sweet from the maple syrup. I was really surprised at how delicious they are. My daughter spotted me snacking from across the room and came to partake.

I like to snack on about 2 of these little cookies between meals or when I need a quick pick me up.

Since I recently started working out again I love that Hail Merry lightly suggest you can use their yummies as a pre-workout snack. I’m for that!

I’m a little bummed that they don’t carry these (yet) at my regular grocery store but since I’m always leaving them nice notes about new products they should carry I hope to see them soon. On the store locator

My verdict is these are delicious and I love having a pack or two in the fridge. By the way I was able to find some in a New Seasons store quite a bit aways from my home. They also had Hail Merry Miracle Tarts which are just pure yummy indulgence. Think a a large chocolate butter cup and other flavors. Nummy!
