First of all take a deep breath. Pets are work and so if you're going to have them realize they do more than look cute and keep you company. They require a bit of upkeep but it is in everybody's best interest so don't despair too much. Just make time for it and add it to your list of to-do's. If the cause of the pet odors are things like cat litter or pet messes then you need to clean this up. Clean up the cat litter as soon as you can. If while you’re at work and they perfume your home scoop in the morning before you step out of the house and first thing when you arrive home. Dispose of used cat litter in your outside garbage can.
