Your May 2010 Home Organizing Checklist.

____ May 1 Get someone to help you flip your mattress.

____ May 2 Organize a meal plan for the week.

____ May 3 Toss any socks that are missing their mates.

____ May 4 Dust off one bookshelf in your home.

____ May 5 Make vacation plans for later in the summer. Make any reservations that are needed.

____ May 6 Order mulch and annual plants for the garden season.

____ May 7 Change out your winter clothes for your spring/summer wardrobe. Donate any items that no longer fit.

____ May 8 Note any items from your winter wardrobe that were not worn, are damaged, or no longer fit. Decide which items can be tossed or donated.

____ May 9 Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. Take the time today to recognize all the incredible and strong women in your life. Spend the day with your family and friends, and do something special with them.

____ May 10 Make a non-perishable donation to a food shelter or women's shelter in your community.

____ May 14 Choose one new recipe or ingredient to try in a dish this week.

____ May 15 Sweep any debris from your driveway, walkway, or front porch.

____ May 22 Run a disk clean-up and defragment on your work and home computers.

____ May 23 Weed out 10 file folders from your home office. Make sure you shred any documents that contain sensitive information.

____ May 24 Challenge yourself to completely catch-up on all your laundry today. Make sure everything is washed, dried,folded, and put away.

____ May 25 Today is Memorial Day in the US. Fly your flag high and proudly. Remember the soldiers who are fighting overseas for your freedom and security of the nation.

____ May 26 Email a friend you have not spoken to in a long time.

____ May 27 Clean out your wallet for any scrap papers, receipts, unused cards, and other trash.
