Bath Toy Storage Print E-mail
Written by K Quinn

Kids of all ages can amass a horde of toys for bath time fun. These toys can get out of hand, create big clutter in the bathroom and make mom frustrated.

So how do you deal with it?

Well there was a story on the news a few months ago where they tested the bathtoys of some small children. The results would make you ill and the result is throw out anything with a small hole where water can get in and you have a hard time getting it out.

If you’ve had bath toys sitting around for a while you may have discovered already the ills that can breed in them. I did when I once squeezed my precious baby’s ducky with a hole in the bottom. All holed bath toys bit the dust that night.

Next edit the toys. Hold on to only the ones your child is really playing with. This may go on for some time. My peanut is now 5 and we continue to have regular bath toy editing sessions as many toys that were not originally bath toys have now become bath toys.

Then pick up a bath toy organizer that will allow the toys to drain and is mildew resistant.

Finally put it on your schedule to clean the bath toys regularly. The easiest way to accomplish this is to set them in the dishwasher once a month.
