7 Easy Ways to Keep an Organized Home - Review Print E-mail
Written by K Quinn

More and more we moms are realizing that in order to “have it all” we have to be more organized in everything we do. But where to begin, what takes precedence, and how to do it are the grey areas we’re all figuring out.

Do you find yourself becoming frustrated trying to accomplish all the home tasks and still find time for yourself? Do your belongings seem to have a mind of their own and no home to belong to? Always finding themselves strewn all over the house in chaos?

Sounds like you may need the new ebook 7 Easy Ways to Keep an Organized Home  - For the Busy Mom by Melanie Sands. 7 Easy Ways to Keep an Organized Home answers all those questions in a nicely organized way and more.

Taste of Home - The Busy Family Cookbook - Review Print E-mail
Written by K Quinn

I love to cook. I just like it. I like making good food for people. Everyone has different ideas of what good food is though. I know I do. I grew up with one non-American parent who loves to cook and entertain and an American parent who loved to cook from other countries. My palate is kind of varied but I did grow up with a few peculiar tastes and dislikes that mark me as maybe having grown up elsewhere (I was well into my teens before I acquired a taste for pizza. I don’t like raisins and I’ve eaten snail which I thought was good to name a few.)

Recently in browsing the cookbook section of the library I discovered the Taste of Home: Busy Family Cookbook . I picked it up without a second thought. Why? I have been a subscriber to one or more of Reiman’s publications for over 10 years and have had great success with the recipes in various publications. I have subscribed to Light and Tasty (now Healthy Cooking), the regular Taste of Home , Reminisce, Reminisce Extra, Farm and Ranch, Country Woman, and Country (okay the last 5 aren’t food focused). And I own two of their cookbooks. This all to say I didn’t think twice about picking up this cookbook and I’m glad I did.

Coupon Cutting to Save Money at the Grocery Store - My Couponizer Review Print E-mail
Written by K Quinn

You have to eat. You can’t get by it. In this day and age we rely on the grocery store much more than our, maybe, vegetable garden to supply our food needs. It can be one of the largest bills in your house and it only makes sense to find ways to cut it down without sacrificing health and taste. One of the best ways is to use coupons. So this is my review of the Couponizer and my path to find it.

Cleaning the Floor with a Steam Mop Print E-mail
Written by K Quinn

With linoleum in the kitchen and both bathrooms I wanted an easier way to clean the floors on a daily basis rather than getting out the mop and the pads. I already use microfiber mops exclusively but I wanted a little more oomph! that could undo what a small child and pets can put out.
