Staying nice and slim was so easy before kids and the keeping of them. Never mind the birth process it’s what comes afterwards. Little time for yourself, foods to make sure they grow only you seem to be too. No spare hour to take a quick aerobics class or jog. And when you do lose weight it seems to come back!


So what can you do? It seems an uphill battle. I know. You want something you can keep up with for life. Something that doesn’t include expensive menus or food items only you are eating not your whole family. It can’t take too much time out of your already busy day and you need to be able to do it at any time.


Keep a food journal. A food list. A Food Diary.


Recently an in depth study has shown that keeping a diary of what you eat can help you lose more weight. Kind of like a homemaking journal only this is your body journal.


Something about writing it down keeps you aware of what is going into your body and you tend to eat better, or less.
The same principal we use when taking care of our homes but this applies to something much more important, you!

You don't need anything special. A notebook, piece of paper or you can log it on your computer. Just keep track of all that goes into your mouth each and every day. It makes you accountable. Gives you a reality check and allows you to see just how well or not so well you are eating.
