The Heart’s Pursuit by Robin Lee Hatcher a Litfuse Book Review
About the Book:
A bounty hunter seeking vengeance for a ravaged past.
My Review:
What I did like: This book takes off with a bang with the main character being jilted at the author and hiring Jared to help her find him. The action is fast paced and the old west town setting are ones I usually like. It was a clean fiction read where each character needs to learn to trust the Lord again. Jared’s second hand story would have actually been a nice beginning for this book. The ending was nice and exciting and I liked the outcome for most everyone.
What I didn’t like: I’ve read a few of Robin’s books before but this one did not strike me as being quite like the others. This was a quicker read and not something that had me lost in the pages. I didn’t feel very connected to the characters. And I didn’t really get a feel for her relationship with her family members.
If you like Christian fiction you may enjoy this latest offering from Robin Lee Hatcher.
