Do you have times when you want a good old snack but it would be better if it had some protein to satisfy you and not be full or strange ingredients or chemicals?

When I pack for a full day out or a day trip or even a regular trip I like to pack snacks for my family that have protein in them and aren’t full of sugar or salt.

Recently through my beloved #Momsmeet I got the chance to try our Robert Irvine’s FITCRUNCH Cheddar Cheese High Protein Puffs. Now I’ll never look like Robert but I have picked up some yummy cooking tips from his Restaurant TV Show.

If you don’t know how Robert Irvine is he is a chef and fitness person (you can totally tell by his physique) who wants to inspire people to take better care of themselves (and their restaurants).

I had no idea that Robert Irvine was making products so thank you @Momsmeet for once again introducing me to a brand/product that is totally me but that I had no idea about!

About FitCrunch Protein Puffs

FITCRUNCH Cheddar Cheese High Protein Puffs look like your favorite, but not good for you, snack puff but these have no artificial colors, sweeteners, or flavors. They are also non-GMO. And (drum roll) soy free!

FITCRUNCH Cheddar Cheese High Protein Puffs have 20 grams of milk protein and are super crunchy and tasty.

Some more specifics are that FITCRUNCH is glutenfree, contains no sugar alcohols, trans fat, artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners.

I will also tell you that, following one of my favorite diets, I attempted to make something similar. They were good but they took me all day and as fast as my family scarfed them down it might be a while before I make them again.

#Momsmeet sent us a goodie box. In it were two 8 count boxes of FITCRUNCH, a smoothie bottles, a carry bag, and even a signed photo or Robert Irvine himself! (that was nice of him).

Taste Testing

So with my family hovering over me I opened one box of FITCRUNCH Cheddar Cheese High Protein Puffs and the handy wipes they came with. I did wonder if I would need these but oh my they came in handy LOL! Your hands can get a little orange with these. So now I just whip out the wipes whenever I’m snacking on them.

Initially we were each going to have our own bags to try but halfway through my bag I was full so I gave it to my daughter. My husband hadn’t opened his yet so decided he would wait until he was hungrier so as not to be wasteful (thank you!).

These were surprisingly good! I expected them to not be as yummy as, you know, the “other” ones but they were good and satisfying that crunchy snack need as well as having that good set of protein.

I had to rescue a few bags for my friend, who is into health and fitness, to try. She did not like the smell but I did not notice the same thing she did.

I keep a bag in the car and we snack on these regularly. You can also crunch them up over salads, soups, tacos, and more. We haven’t made it that far as we enjoy just snacking on them plain. I’m about out now so I’ll need to pick up some more. Keep them at room temp in your pantry.

I like how if we’re in the snacking mood we can pick up something that isn’t full of strange ingredients (like soy) and that even contains protein to keep us full and satisfied.
