Lundberg Family Farms Organic Grounded Snacks {Review}

It's all about finding healthy snacks.

In addition to my own nuclear family, I find myself feeding my daughter's various friends. Of course I've checked with their parents regarding food allergies or special diets before doing this. And I want to provide healthy good for you treats instead of the sugar laden items.

I was recently sent a goodie bag of Lundberg Organic Grounded Snacks from Lundberg Family Farms.

Lundberg Organic Grounded Snacks are made with Red Rice and Quinoa. They are gluten free, whole grain, allergen free, Non GMO, vegan, and kosher.

I received these flavors of the Grounded Snacks…

  • Pink Himalayan Salt
  • Aged White Cheddar
  • French Onion
  • Cinnamon Sugar
  • Ancho Chile

I also received some Lundberg Family Farms Sprouted Brown Rice And Lundberg Family Farms Salted Carmel Rice Cakes with a bag clip all in a nice recycled shopping bag.

Sampling Lundberg Organic Grounded Snacks

When you see these chips the first thing you think is that you're about to eat a corn chip because that's the shape. But there is no corn in these chips (I have a friend who is allergic to corn). These are all Rice and Quinoa (with spices thrown in).

My favorite flavor of the chips I tried were the Ancho Chile flavored.

I found these crunchy chips to be delicious with a slightly sweet taste. The spices and the sweet hint was good. I thought they would be too hot but they weren't. My daughter and I enjoyed eating them with hummus.

The other chips, except for the Pink Himalayan just had a hint of their flavors. The French Onion were also yummy.

If I were going to go out and buy these (which I may because they are tasty) I would purchase the Ancho Chile.

About Lundberg Family Farms

Lundberg Family Farms is family owned and operated. The company started back in 1937 when Albert and Frances Lundberg worked to create a farm that wouldn't reproduce the same tragic results as seen during the Dust Bowl.

They provide great tasting rice products (we've purchased their rice blends for years) and use eco-positive methods to produce their products.

You can purchase Lundberg products online at Amazon or Thrive Market. You can also search the website to find stores near you selling Lundberg products (they sell them at my Fred Meyer).
