Wildscape 6 Frozen Dinners

It was late at night. We had a long day and I didn’t want to dirty up the kitchen making dinner. But we wanted something good, healthy and filling. So out came the Wildscape Frozen Meals.

Wildscape Meals

Wildscape Frozen Meals with nutrient dense ingredients.

Wildscape is a company that makes frozen meals for your convenience out of fresh and delicious ingredients. They strive to use natural ingredients and prepare the meals in such a way that they retain their texture even after being microwaved.

The meals are also nutrient dense meaning they are packed full of those good for you ingredients such as mushrooms, peppers, beans, barley, Quinoa, chickpeas, cabbage… You get the idea.

And there are six recipes designed to be prepared in under 6 minutes to help a busy momma out.

  • PeriPeri Portabellos
  • Chiumichurri Chicken
  • Gochujang Cauliflower
  • Cilantro Lime Chicken
  • Togashari Beef
  • Seared Steak

Wildscape and Momsmeet sent me a whole package of goodies and the pretty colorful meals to try out.

The Goodies

  • Canvas Apron
  • Canvas Bag
  • Cooler bag
  • Notebook

In addition to all the goodies I also received a Recipe Snapshot so I could know at a glance what meals were Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Dairy Free, Contained Nuts, Soy, what type of protein, calories, fiber, and carbs.

On the Recipe Snapshot Wildscape lists the Peri Peri Portabellos, Cilantro Lime Chicken, and the Chimichurri Chicken as not containing soy. On their website however both the Cilantro Lime Chicken and the Chimichuri chicken say they include soybean oil. So that is one I will be contacting them about because Soybean oil affects me as well.

Trying Wildscape Meals

Each Wildscape meal came in it’s own resealable reusable plastic container. There were specific instructions on on each container telling how to microwave and for how long. The meals are meant to be microwaved.

Each of us chose a meal to try. I chose the Peri Peri Portabellos as it was the only one that I felt clearly did not contain soy.

My husband chose the Togarashi Beef and my daughter chose the Chimicurri Chicken.

After cooking the meals according to directions we put them on plates to ooh and aaah about the meals (white plates used so we could really see what we had).

The meals were delicious. A little more seasoning could be put on them but all in all they were very tasty and very filling. Each meal less than 500 calories but on the plate it looked like enough for a small army. We finished our meals regardless.

I would definitely buy these and have them in the freezer for busy nights which we only have too many of.
