Father’s Day is just around the corner.
I find Father’s Day to be one of the more difficult holidays to buy gifts for. Whether it’s my own father, my husband, or my brother-in-law, what to get them can put me in quite a quandary.
Gifts for men just aren’t easy to come up with and every year I feel as if I’ve picked my last good gift.
This year Zazzle.com came to the rescue just in time for Father’s Day. The option to make something customized makes it that much easier to come up with something dad will love and they have some great Father’s Day gifts lined up too.

Here’s the Father’s Day I came up with from Zazzle
I went with Zazzle.com this year for my husband’s Father’s Day gift. Here’s why.
Several months ago we took a small beach vacation that was very relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family. Since it was during the off season we got a really nice chance to just live like the locals and enjoy the days. My husband took a few pictures that he really liked. They were beautiful, captivating, beach scenes looking out at the ocean with lovely clouds and the sun peeking through. We’re not really great picture takers but these really came across and just captured the wonderful scenery. You can just hear the waves looking at them. At the time he made a little comment about getting some pictures made for them to put on the wall.
That little comment stuck with me and I thought it would be nice if for Father’s Day I had one of the pictures put on a canvas to hang up in his office.
I had a 20 x 16 canvas made of one of these scenes. Zazzle canvas pieces are put on gloss and I love that they are fade resistant for 75 years! The price are not cheap but if you use one of the constantly updated coupons that helps a fair bit.
Shipping was quick as usual and I received our Father’s Day gift in a week. It was packaged nicely in protective plastic bag and shaped cardboard box.
I’m excited to give this for hubby for Father’s Day. Maybe it will inspire him to get some new furniture for his office. If not it will at least give him some lovely memories every time he looks up and sees it.
Oh did I mention that there’s a nice little hook on the back for easy hanging?
And here it is on Zazzle.
Lovely eh? I want you to note the two sets of footprints in the image. Those are my husband’s and my daughter’s. They had walked out to the water and walked back. Actually the shadow on the right hand of the picture is of him taking the picture. To me this picture shows the Awesomeness of God’s creation. I can also remember being there and how soothing and mesmerizing the whole scene was. I think I’ll plug in our sound machine with it. Hmmmm…
So ssssshhhhhh…. hubby doesn’t know this is here in the house. He will love it! I know. It’s very soothing and I’m excited to present it to him. Sniff! He will really be pleased.
Zazzle.com is a nice way to come up with something customized for the Father’s in your life.
