Even though in my family The Lord’s birth is not celebrated with gift giving to each other. This time of year I still shop for presents all around.

Why?

(a)There are so many good deals around this time of year that I get my shopping done for birthdays.

(b) We have several birthdays and anniversaries in the family in November and December.

(c) My birthday is in December and I always buy myself something special that I plan a few months for.

My daughter’s birthday isn’t until early next year but I’m shopping now because I know I can get what she wants for much less. Here are some of the things she’s put a bug in my ear about.
