Homemaking Giveaway! July 2018
I really like working on different skills and areas of my home. Especially when life feels out of control – it’s so nice to focus a little bit on one routine or area to help get it under control. For example, have you ever walked into your laundry room and through “ohmyword. When did a bomb go off in here?!?”
That’s a good indicator that it’s time to work on my laundry routine for a little while and perhaps figure out a better way to do this.
But in the midst of working on my home and better routines in our life, I can sometimes find myself feeling a little lethargic.
I can glimpse the PILES of laundry taking over the house – and I don’t feel excited or motivated to work on it.
It’s in these times that I know I
1) probably need to take a little break and a breather and
2) I need a little something to spark my motivation again.
That might be a new laundry basket, an interesting podcast episode to listen to while I fold the laundry, or an iced coffee while I work. 😉
