Spring Cleaning is just around the corner and this is the time I coral my cleaning products and make sure I have what I need to get those extra credit jobs done.

How I Used These Products.
I dug in and used my Murchison-Hume Home Starter Kit right away! In fact I've used nothing but Murchison-Hume since that first box arrived. Yes first.
In fact I like it so much I went back to the site, used the percent off code below and ordered a big bunch of refills. I clean my bathrooms a lot. I also ordered the floor and countertop cleaners. I really like wiping down my kitchen counters at the end of the day with these gentle cleaners. And it makes the whole house smell sweet.
We have a church activity in our home each weekend so I like to give the home a once going over. It takes me about an hour and here's my rundown.

How Did I like Murchinson-Hume
I'm really enjoying cleaning with these products. Some of the ingredients (like the window cleaner) are incredible simple and something I could put together at home BUT I don't have to. I also like the nice light scents (I have both Fig and the Australian Grapefruit). When I'm done cleaning our home smells lightly clean and fresh. It's not overpowering and chemically (is that a word?) and better yet I'm not wheezing while wiping down the shower stall!
I also like that there are little extra tips on the back of each bottle to make sure you use the product either effectively or fully.
For example:
Ladies Bathroom Cleaner: Use throughout the week to freshen your bathroom. A little spritz down the bowl or in the air keeps things smelling sweet.
Glass Cleaner: Use to clean your cell phone and any other reflective surface.
Everyday Furniture & Upholstery Cleaner: Use on hard surfaces too. Banishes odors.
Effortless Floor Cleaner: A little goes a long way so even though this comes in a spray bottle (unless you're getting a refill) dilute before using on your floor.
Spit & Polish Stainless Steel Cleaner: Shake before using and apply to cloth before applying to your appliance.
Counter Safe All Purpose Cleaner: Use to clean often handled spots like light switches, and remotes.
These cute little tips on the back of each bottle helped me to maximize each products use and get the most out of them.

My only gripe is I wish they had a scouring or scrubbing formula for my sinks and bathtubs. I use the bathroom cleaner on tile but I still use another cleaner for the sinks and bathtub.

I don’t have a routine. I need a routine.
Wonderful post! There is so much useful and helpful information here. I like learning new ways to maintain my house. I like how you make a plan what to do each day. I have to do such too, because lately it’s very hard to organize my time!
If we’re not too busy we have a routine–we each pick up/clean for 30 minutes a day. When we’re too busy, like now, well, yeah, let’s not talk about that!
I do not have a cleaning routine. When it looks bad, I get busy.

I do some cleaning daily, but not really a routine. I just do what I notice needs doing that day…bathrooms, floors, etc.

I have a daily routine on paper, but we stay so busy that most weeks I end up doing a total house cleaning in one day. Today was that day this week.

We don’t really have a routine other than “once a week, complete this list”.
We’re more “tidiers” than “cleaners.” No set routine here, just picking things up daily and doing a deeper clean when it feels really gross, lol.
My weekly routine would be: remind the teens to clean the bathrooms and sweep the house!
Not really. We all have certain chores we do, but it’s pretty relaxed.

Mine are more daily-ish. I don’t have a weekly plan. I just see things that are not in the daily plan (like cleaning curtains, vacuuming baseboards and lampshades) and do them.
