Do you find yourself spending more time Tweeting, Pinning, and Facebooking than being in the face of your family?
Do you know more about what’s going on the other side of the country than what’s happening in your own home?
Do you find it hard to find those 15 minutes to clean up your home but yet you spend hours online with not much to show for it?
If you answered yes to even one of these questions let alone all three you’re going to want to get your hands on a copy of Sarah Mae’s new book The Unwired Mom.
Sarah Mae herself unplugged a little while ago to reconnect with her family (I remember her blog post about that), refocus what she was doing online, and come back with a clear focus. She has a lot to share on the subject and it’s in this great ebook.
I read the ebook in one sitting (oddly enough on my computer) and I found it inspiring and real. Sarah Mae doesn’t hold back and that is refreshing. She lets you see her warts and all. You find out what was most important to her and how she was in danger of losing that because her focus was in the wrong place.
I like this book. I agree with what Sarah has to say. There are many things I don’t do online because it would suck up too much of my time from my family. But there are also many things I do that still suck up my time and that’s not good.
This ebook (or Kindle book) is just what internet addicted moms need. Sarah Mae shares her own painful story. All of it. And you will find it inspiring that someone who has made it to the top of the blogging world can share how it affected her and the steps she took to reign it in.
In The Unwired Mom you’ll also find
- A Two Week Challenge to help you break bad internet habits.
- Advice from the other bloggers on how to manage web time.
- And resources to help you reign it in and prioritize.
