Still Cookin’ For the Freezer : Menu Plan Monday May 25, 2015
Happy Memorial Day (well I don't know if “happy” is the right word. I've always felt kind of somber and patriotic on the day).
I hope you're enjoying the day off from work and duties. My husband is former military so I'm treating him to some pizza and we're taking care of some outdoor chores.
If you remember last week I was hopping back on the fill the freezer band wagon. I used to fill my freezer regularly with dinner meals but kind of tapered off once we were getting ready to move. I would like to fill it back up again because having those meals is so nice on busy days.
So how is filling the freezer going so far?
Well I did manage to put away some salmon quiche. That recipe is a family favorite and easy for me to make from leftover salmons. You can also used canned salmon but leftover salmon is what I usually have on hand.
This week I'm not sure any of my recipes are freezer friendly so this might be a skip week. We have a family plan to go berry picking this week so if that goes as planned I'll be freezing those items.
And don't forget if you need a menu plan for Cooking From Costco for the Freezer check out this great one for a very, very low price.
Here's what's on the menu for this week…
Monday: Take out pizza (gasp!)
Tuesday: Ground Turkey Rice Wraps
Wednesday: Korean Tacos
Thursday: Thai Chicken Curry
Friday: Ground Beef and Ground Turkey Quesadillas
