Where would you travel to if you could go anywhere in the world?

This is my travel dream.

I think for me it would be the French or Italian Countryside.

My husband and I would have finally booked that Learn to Cook Vacation we've been dreaming of. We would be learning to make fantastic pasta with seafood or classic French cuisine taught by Michel Roux Jr. himself.

Our daughter is with us of course because she wants to cook as much as we do and well we're glued at the hip.

We would stay in a villa on the outskirts of town and eat outside al fresco (or is it fresca) every day.

The country home we are staying in would have a courtyard with lemon trees and the daily temperatures would be a balmy low 80's.

Of course there would be stray village cats that would flock to me because they know how much I love them. They would miraculously be free from fleas and vermin.Β  My daughter would be in heaven.

We would stay a month and make plans to come back every year.
Well that's my travel dream.

Until then we make a not so far away trip to Pacific Coast once a year, are blessed to stay in a villa of sorts and eat and cook the local seafood. There are no cooking lessons though and the temperature rarely goes above 75. Still it's lovely and does nicely in the meantime.

  1. That sounds like a wonderful dream. I think you would enjoy it. Don’t book Italy for July it is too hot. (We just returned and I could have stayed in Tuscany for a month.)

    1. Thanks for the tip Beth πŸ™‚ I was in Rome in April (eons ago) and it was just perfect. When you go to Tuscany for a month call me so I can come along too πŸ˜‰

  2. Yes, France and Italy are on my wish list of places to travel as well, especially the countryside. LOL about the cats being miraculously pest-free. πŸ˜‰
