The Coming Week Including Our Menu Plan for Aug. 15, 2016
Greetings:
Good grief! School is just around the corner. The days are shortening. My tomatoes are doing that thing where they start to look awful and I question the wisdom of growing them again and thoughts of schedules, plans, and routines come up in general conversation.
It’s time to get those cleaning routines back on track for back to school.
Today is the last day to the Make Over Your Mornings and/or Make Over Your Evenings ecourse packages for sale. They won’t go on sale again until some time in 2017.
To recap you can buy one ecourse for $10 and get the next one for $7. They are both usually $17 each but purchasing this way is like BOGO (Buy One Get One Free).
Here’s what happened in my home this past week….
Around the House
We’ve been eating a lot of zucchini lately. I only planted 3 plants but really all it takes is one. I’ve been sharing some, and baking zucchini bread, and freezing, and we eat it as a veggie most nights of the week.
It’s in the 90’s in my town so we’re keeping cool in the shade and in the house. Lots of indoor activities.
In the School Room
Did you see these darling back to school lunchbox printables I posted last week? There a sweet thing to put in lunches.
At the Dining Table
My husband has been cooking a lot of our dinners. He likes to cook so when he wants in the kitchen I’m not going to complain. He’s been testing out lamb and chicken on us lately. Very delicious.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Chicken Leftovers (we have lots of chicken leftovers)
Tuesday: Ground Turkey Burgers
Wednesday: Dinner Out
Thursday: Lentil Soup
Friday: Chicken Quesadillas
