This entry is part 88 of 112 in the series Monday-Menu Plan

Greetings:

Happy Monday!

I mean to open with a confession of having devoured quite a bit of Regency era fiction and therefore I’ve accomplished little else.

I’ve been blessed to read the books of Dawn Crandalland if you are of the mind to read like material I believe you will enjoy her tales immensely (book 4 is coming later this year!).

Around the House

We are coming out from under some extreme heat here in the Pacific Northwest. As a result my tomato starts have suffered and died (I never claimed to have a green thumb). I’ll be picking up some more this week. Sigh! I wasn’t very well prepared for this gardening season but I still mean to make something of it. We dined on lettuce and radishes from the garden so if that’s all I ever get I will be happy there was some success!

In the School Room

I hope to have only a month left of school. It’s always like this at the end. A mad dash to finish off a few subjects, namely math.

We had the great pleasure of attending a recital for piano and violin students Friday evening. It was lovely and now I have to sign my daughter up for lessons with this same teacher. One thing that impressed me was her method of including some curriculum into the lessons. Students were required to write reports on chosen composers. It was more an evening of lovely music rather than just focusing on nervous students playing their lessons.

At the Dining Table

Today marks the final day for signing up for Kid’s Cook Real Food eCourse. If you you’ve been on the fence don’t dilly dally. I highly, highly reccommend this course. It’s well done and you may find yourself learning some cooking skills also. I guess I should say it’s (well done) basic cooking skills and learning healthy recipes in one. Ends midnight tonigh. Click here for Kids Cook Real Food.

On that note here is my menu for this week.

My Weekly Menu Plan:

Monday: Baked Chicken Breast with Sweet Potato Mash and Swiss Chard.

Tuesday: Ground Turkey Burgers

Wednesday: Homemade Pizza

Thursday: Catfish Asian style salad

Friday: Chicken Quesadillas

What’s on your menu?
