Happy Monday! It’s time to reboot the household and get back into a fresh new week. I often think of each new week as a chance to start something new. To refresh old habits. Or to pick up a goal I’ve laid down.
This week that goal is exercising. I laid that down many, many, many moons ago and my body is really telling me that some sort of stretching or something is mandatory NOW! So I’m starting off this week nice and slow with a walking program.
Around the House
Around the house I’ve been using the Motivated Mom’s Planner to keep on top of cleaning and detailed cleaning in the house. This is a slightly different mindset than I usually use and it helps when you’re ubber busy. For example instead of cleaning the bathrooms all in one shot (I’m very focused on a clean bathroom) you do a little each day. So far so good.
In the School Room
Today marks the opening of the doors for the annual Build Your Homeschool Bundle Sale. If you missed all the banners, buttons, posts, and emails about it last week this is the largest Homeschool Online Curriculum sale and this year we’re pretty happy to be a part of it. In this year’s bundle you’ll find our Weekly Homemaking Planner (good until April 2017), our Homeschool Organizer, a Couple of Unit Studies, and Museum helps newly created in partnership with my mother. This is something we’ve been working on and continue to work on so we hope our addition to the bundle sale will be a blessing to your homeschool and your home.
At the table this week I’m trying to use more veggies in our meals. I love fresh veggies and using my new cookbook Home Cooked I’ve found some simple ways to cook yummy produce. I’m having a giveaway for this book so hurry up, read my review, and enter before it ends!
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Leftover spring rolls, rice, and pickled veggies
Tuesday: Potato Salad
Wednesday: Homemade Pizza
Thursday: Chicken Noodle Soup
Friday: Ground Turkey Quesadillas
What’s on your menu?
