I confess to taking the summer off of meal planning. It's so easy to make meals on the fly when the weather is warm. I don't know why that is. Fresh veggies are flying in from the garden. We might not even be home because we're at the beach or camping. Who has time to think about what's for dinner?

Fresh veggies are flying in from the garden. We might not even be home because we're at the beach or camping. Who has time to think about what's for dinner?

But as we get closer to starting back to the school year I know I need to get busy in the kitchen and start planning meals again.  For my own sanity and my family's health.

If you've taken the summer off of meal planning it's time to put it back into practice. Before you know it the school year will be here and you will wish you had planned in advance.
