I don’t know when we started calling them hair pretties. Back then it just stood for anything to decorate your hair with. And when I first spotted Lilla Rose Flexi Hair Clips they fit the bill perfectly! Hair Pretties! Ah! I’d found them! LOL!
I don’t know who first introduced Lilla Rose to me but now my friend Missy Potter wants to introduce them to you. And not only that but to also offer one lucky mama a Lovely Giveaway just in time for Mother’s Day.

Why I like Lilla Rose for Curly Hair
I’m a pretty simple person. I like to pull my super coily hair up and back pretty much every day. I had been using scrunchies to do this but I felt like they might be tugging my hair too tight. I would find hairs wrapped up in the fabric scrunchies every night when I took it down.
And I did’t like the scrunchie look for nicer occasions like church or going out to dinner.
When I first saw Lilla Rose Hair Clips I was intrigued. I’ve spent a small fortune in hair doo dads during my lifetime and I found these so lovely that I was willing to take a chance.
To me, the Lilla Rose hair clips remind me of something that would be worn in the hair during the Victorian Era. They give off that ultra feminine romantic feel. But if such filgree delicateness is not your cup of tea Lilla Rose also sells simple classic hair clips which I’m eyeing for everyday.
The first time I tried a Lilla Rose clip I was impressed with how they worked in my hair. My hair is what is calls 4a/b. It’s very springy and coily. I say I can wear my hair “down” it can only be worn “out”. It’s below my shoulders when straightened. For a simple Lilla Rose style I pull it all back in the clip of choice. Then I make a poufy twist with the bun and tuck it in with a bobby pin.
Speaking of bobby pins Lilla Rose has really pretty decorative ones. You can see a sample of some on my daughter’s hair in the picture.
Cue my daughter. She has gorgeous long very curly hair. She has what is considered 3b hair. When you pull one of her springy curls it reachers to her hips. She loves her long hair and has no intention of cutting but she does need a practical way to put it up on occasion.
It takes an extra large clip to her hold her hair. And actually she could probably go to an XXL. With the Flexi 8 clip she can put it up quickly and prettily.

Hey Nancy! The beauty of Lilla Rose products is that you can find something to work in your hair no matter the length or texture! I love doing a half-up with a flexi. The flexi is also great for doing loose buns. Depending on how short your hair is, you could do a small swerve u-pin or maybe a regular sized one if it’s a little longer or has more texture and body. I have long hair, and I like to pull the sides back and clip it at the back of my head for church. These clips are beautiful! They are also nice for gathering it at the back of my neck. If I ever get brave, I might try an up-do! But I’m not sure I could pull it off by myself. I’d need lots of practice! LOL
Kelly, my hair is long too! We don’t only have the flexi clips, but beautiful hair sticks, u-pins, hair bands and bobbies to experiment with too. I typically do a half-up or a bun. The half-up I use a flexi, but my buns usually have either a stick or a u-pin in it.
