Bulu Box Monthly Healthy Samples Review
I love receiving goodies in the mail.
So much so that all these new sample box subscriptions services could really break my bank account if I didn’t have so much self control. Luckily I do and thankfully some of them have had pity on me and asked me to check them out and give a review of the findings. Much obliged.
Now if you’re still unsure what I’m talking about I’m talking about all these great subscription services where you pay some money and once a month you receive a box that is usually a mix of products in a specific category. There are boxes for makeup, for kids crafts, for tea, peppers, multicultural cooking spices, organic snacks, desserts, clothing, men’s grooming products, dog products,(deep breath). Well the the list goes on but there’s something for everyone.
And for me for the next three months I’m getting to review the Sample Bulu Box.
Bulu Box is a subscription service for health and/or weight loss products.
The idea behind Bulu Box sounded good to me. Each month receive a box of good sized samples of either regular healthy stuff or a box of gear and goodies designed for those who want to lose some weight.
So I was given the Three month sampler box subscription. And I was also given the option to choose between regular and weight loss versions.
My mouse darted back and forth across the screen before I opted for the regular box of goodies. I didn’t have long to wait and received an email that my Bulu Box was on the way. I was excited!
So my box arrived a little before the New Year and these are my thoughts…
Now I don’t know if it’s because this is described as a “sampler box” that the items inside were so random but since they do have you go through a survey before checking out I would think the sample products would be more of what I could use.
This is what I received:
- Erzo Vitamin Biscuits for pregnant mothers: I’m not pregnant (yet)
- 8 Hour Energy Patch: I’m scared of these things
- Protein Brownie: It has soy in it. That’s to be expected, or at least I always expect it. But I am allergic to soy so there’s not trying this thing.
- Burn Blend:I got 2 packs. Scared of this too.
- Garcinia Cambogia: I also got 2 packs of this. Yup! Scared.
- Coffee Pod: Don’t drink coffee but have a taker in the family who has one of those pod like machines.
- Fru-licious fruit snacks: These I like. We all had a pack.
So for $10 I received one, possibly two things I would like to try.
I feel like my Bulu Box was like a box trying to fill too many holes. Although I’m intrigued about the pregnancy biscuits and I liked the fruit snacks the other items were just a bust.
I love the idea of healthy supplements coming in my mail but I didn’t love this first box.
Now I have a 3 month subscription so the verdict is still out. I’m hoping the next box is a bit better.
Also after you receive your box you can give a review on the site and receive points which you can turn in for products. You can also purchase the full size of the products on the Bulu site.
If you’re curious and want to try Bulu Box don’t pay full price. Instead get a 3 Month Subscription for just $15 (regularly $30)! at Bulu Box – Use code WOWZA
