grubmarket-review-menu-plan-jan-25Greetings:

Happy Monday! I hope you had a delicious week last week. We sure did.

I'm still dipping my foot into the Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle. I'm testing dishes and eating a lot more fruits and vegetables.

Speaking of fruits and veggies I have a lovely giveaway for one of you today so do read on.

Today's beautiful bounty comes from  GrubMarket an online farmers market.

About GrubMarket:

GrubMarket is all about providing accessibility by delivering…
  • Unbeatable prices:  While many food delivery services and premium grocers cater to high-income earners, GrubMarket is committed to making fresh and delicious food accessible to all people by keeping their prices consistently lower than all comparable grocers.
  • Convenience:  Through their reliable operations, GrubMarket is committed to providing people in food deserts (ie. areas without farmers' markets and fresh grocery stores) with access to high-quality, freshly-harvested items that they would typically find at a farmers' market or Whole Foods store.  Additionally, they offer free delivery across the U.S. for all orders above $59.
  • Food Discovery:  GrubMarket provides a platform for their partnering small farms and vendors to sell their items directly to customers.  Many of these food producers have challenges getting shelf space at grocery stores, and/or may not want to pay the upfront costs of hosting farmers' market tables.  GrubMarket gives these food producers access to tens of thousands of customers through a robust online marketplace, regardless of the food producers' production scale.
GrubMarket firmly believes that you, your family, and your friends should always have the opportunity to eat well, and that price should never be a barrier between you and healthy, delicious, and freshly-harvested food.
They work with a variety of farms and artisan producers to bring you high-quality foods and other items at prices that are up to 50% OFF what you'd typically find at other grocers.

The Produce

So GrubMarket sent me a nice heavy box filled with picked to perfection fruits. I mean really! Everything was surprisingly ripe and we are enjoying it all!
This box came at a great time. My daughter was having a poopy day and I used this box to put a big smile on her face. She loves her fruit so when she saw this sitting on the counter it was all smiles.
The fruits were packed so that nothing was bruised. Amazing! Especially when you think about pears. It was also labeled so that the delivery man too gentle care with it.
Most of the fruits were labeled so we knew where they came from. That's kind of important in our home. Everything but the pineapple was labeled as US. The pineapple says (it's in the fridge right now) Costa Rica.

From GrubMarket I received a box with….
  • 3 apples
  • 3 oranges, two of which were purple (so cool)
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 1 pear
  • 1 big ripe pineapple
  • 1 big pomelo
  • 1 package of Medjool Dates
We eat a lot of fruit in my home so we're trying to take our time but, yeah, everything is about gone. The oranges have been very sweet!
So now I would like to share this bounty with you.
