I was able to review a sample box of loose leaf tea from Simple Loose Leaf, a monthly tea subscription service, a few weeks ago.
If you love tea, or know someone who does, then this latest delivery box is right up your alley!
With a subscription to Simple Loose Leaf once a month you’re sent a box which has 4-5 loose leaf teas (nicely sealed), a re-usable muslin tea bag and a beautiful card detailing your month’s tea selection inside.
The teas included are a sampling of Black, Green, Oolong, and Herbal teas and the price for such convenience is $17 a month.
This past month I received a box of these lovely teas.
My sampling was…
- Pumpkin Spice Rooibos
- Ceylon Supreme
- Bird Nest Pu’er
- Cranberry Cider Herbal
- Lavender Sencha
- and a little muslin bag to brew them in
I was generous and gifted my husband the Rooibos. He loves as it makes him sleepy.
So far I’ve had the Ceylon Supreme which made a nice morning tea and I’ve been hovering over the Bird Nest Pu’er but I hate to undo that cute little bundle. My daughter wants the Cranberry Cider Herbal and the Lavender Sencha, which is a green tea, I’m saving for a momma moment when I get to sit back and enjoy.
Each little packet contains 6-8 grams which is enough tea for a couple of cups (except the Pu’er which can be used up to 3 times). And also brewing instructions based on the type of tea it is.
Once you’ve tried your teas you can then purchase your favorites in the online shop.
I’m excited to see what’s coming next month.
If you know someone who loves a cuppa this makes a wonderful gift for them. Especially if they like sampling the different varieties of tea. I particularly know someone who fits this category. She’s already got a whiff of my boxes so she’s probably hoping I gift her with this come her birthday.
