Monday – Menu Plan for November 25, 2013

What’s on the Menu for this week? Well turkey of course!

Thanksgiving is this week and that means turkey. So really I only need to worry about meals for Monday thru Tuesday.

Last week’s menu included a swap out for fried catfish and baked french fries. It was so good. The Sweet Peanut and I cooked together most days last week. We also made the delicious squash bars from KitchenStewardship. I would have taken a picture but I went upstairs to shampoo my hair and they disappeared. I’ll be making more soon.

This week I want to keep dinner low key. Easy meals in anticipation of the cooking marathon.

This past weekend I made this delicious Fall Apple Salad by Curtis Stone. You can see the pic below and read the recipe on another post here.

I head out tomorrow to pick up my goods for Thanksgiving dinner.

I hope you have all wonderful Thanksgiving!

Monday: Baked fish, Sweet Potato, and Spinach

Tuesday: Chicken Stir Fry

Wednesday: Lasagna (hadn’t had that in a while)

Thursday: Happy Thanksgiving!

Friday: Turkey leftovers!

  1. Oh my. My husband and I were talking about fried catfish this weekend. Two restaurants, in Vegas, are our favorites.
    Everything looks so good.
Happy Thanksgiving! It’s Menu Plan Monday.

    1. Thanks for stopping by Rona. Isn’t fried catfish so good?!! I can’t believe we’ve waited so long to have it. I added some extra spices from Penzy’s and that added a great touch!
      Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
