My Favorite Home Planner: The One I’ve Used for Three Years!

What I Love the most about this Planner

If someone asked my why this planner, why do I love it so much I would say having that weekly layout with all the sections at the top for keeping me on track is my favorite part.

If I do nothing else in my planner (because of laziness) I always try to check of the daily tasks. My family knows I mean business when I check those off.

And Then There Are the Stickers!

Laurie Hise loves some stickers and so do I. She includes 2 pages of stickers with each planner. Some are task specific and some are for making your planner colorful and exciting but they are cute. Incidentally you can also purchase sticker books for use in your planner.

What I Don't Use

As I mentioned earlier, as much as I should use them I don't use the finance pages. They are there every month and I'm just recently getting into managing my money better so this could change but this what I use the least. It's actually a very detailed section and I think you should use it. Don't be me.

That's one of the beautiful things about this planner, you don't have to use every single page to feel and get organized. There are a lot of useful pages though so don't overlook them.

My husband actually loves the functionality of this planner and all the little places to track things—but he's not quite as enthusiastic about the colors and design. He's hoping Laurie will come up with a design for men.

My daughter didn't think much of my planner at first. But now she's married and wants to be more organized in her own home life she's ready for one.

How I Use this Planner With My Homemaking System

The reason this planner works so well for me is that it supports my own way of keeping home.

I love the checkboxes on the weekly page. Period. They are my favorite part. It keeps me on track. I already have simple routines for keeping up the house but I confess to not always being on top of things.

I also have details in my personal and work life I like to keep track of and this planner makes room for that.

And that's why, after trying different planners—including ones I've made myself—the Passionate Penny Pincher Home Planner is the one I keep coming back to.

Fun factoid. I have a good friend that I gift the planner to each year. She had spotted me with it once and asked about it. She's also uncomfortable shopping online so she felt that maybe she would just do without it. Last year she thanked me in advance but asked me not to buy one.
