Sabotaged by Dani Pettrey a Book Review

Another heart stopping adventure from Dani Pettrey! The 5th book in the Alaskan Courage series Sabotaged does not start off slow and you’re into the action right from the start!

We’re back in the frozen tundra of Alaska the setting is the Iditarod race. And this time bad boy brother Reef McKenna is the focus of the story. He teams up with former classmate Kirra Jacobs to solve things and there is no love lost between the two….yet.

Sabotaged does not lack in the excitement department. It starts right in when Kirra’s uncle, a musher in the race, has disappeared. Kirra and Reef quickly track the man, but what they discover is harrowing: Frank’s daughter has been kidnapped. Kirra and Reef, along with the entire McKenna family, are thrown into a race to stop a shadowy villain who is not only threatening a girl’s life–but appears willing to unleash one of the largest disasters Alaska has ever seen.

It makes you wonder what is going that this whole family often finds themselves in the midst of such drama every few months but that’s what makes it a good story so go with the flow.

The rest of the McKenna family is in attendance too so you will get an update on your favorites. I think that’s always important and if you haven’t read the rest of the Alaskan Courage series you’ll want to start with Bailey (my favorite) in Book 1, Submerged.

While you may be able to read Sabotaged as a stand alone story I recommend starting with Book 1 in the Alaskan Courage series. Find out the birth order and get a better look at the family member’s personalities.

There’s plenty of prayer and faith in this one too. You’d better be on your knees when you’re going through all of this!

Christian fiction readers that like some action in their stories will enjoy Sabotaged.
