PreMama Natural Supplements for Fertility, Pregnancy, and New Mamas {Review}

A few weeks ago a pregnant friend and I were discussing supplements and what we were currently taking. We both admitted to having lots of supplements on hand but I was mostly interested to hear what she was taking for her pregnancy.

Back when I was pregnant (in the dark ages) my poor doctor had no idea what to prescribe for me. I have a soy sensitivity/allergy and was something my doctor had never dealt with (say what?!). She hemmed and hawwed for a bit and had no answers. I told her I would bring in my regular multi so she could look that over. That was was that.

Back then I would have loved to have had the option of taking something like the Premama supplements for pregnancy support.

Not all of Premama pregnancy supplements are soy-free but several of them do not contain soy. And Premama offers non-GMO, easy to swallow supplements for before, during, and after your pregnancy. From powders to gummies, to chews there is something for every stage and many situations.

*There is a whole library of Premama Supplements for the mama to be.

Trying Premama

Although the true test for Premama would be whether their Fertility Supplement works on a woman in her 40’s we won’t go there yet.

What I will tell you about is the taste and the ease of taking such a supplement.

I was sent a box of Premama Fertility Supplement Drink Mix to review for you.

Premama Fertility is designed to increase chances of pregnancy.

It’s a mixture of Folic Acid (sooo important) and Myo-Inositol. A mixture designed to increase egg quality and support ovulation. The directions are to take on packet a day and mix it with water.

It’s a white powder that carries no taste. At least I didn’t taste anything. Other supplements in the Premama line are flavored (such as chews and gummies).

Who should take this? Well anyone planning to get pregnant really. Folic Acid is commonly recommended to prevent birth defects. Premama Fertility contains 200 mcg of Folic Acid which is 50% of the daily recommended amount. And 2000 mcg of Myo-Inositol.

*Run these by your doctor before you try them.
