Momsmeet recently sent me some probiotic hand sanitizer from Desert Essence. I am already familiar with Desert Essence products. I enjoy using their hair products and Jojoba oil. And I was excited to try this new, to me, concept of a Probiotic Hand Sanitizer. I mean why put probiotics in hand sanitizer?

The ingredients in it include water, several good for you bacteria (such as kefir, Lactobacillus), essential oils, and citric acid.
To use it you just apply a little into your hands and rub together until the product has dried out on your hands.
To try it out of course I went straight for the lavender blend, my favorite scent. The hand sanitizer is a clear liquid gel that leaves and pleasant scent on your hands once you’ve rubbed it in. It didn’t dry my hands out but actually left them a teeny bit moisturized.
I like to keep one of the small bottles on my desk while working, and one in my purse. I also gave my husband a bigger bottle to carry with him at work. He visits several homes each day so keeping germs at bay is very important in his line of work.
