52-Weeks-Fresh-BreakfastI’m taking the bull by the horns so to speak. I haven’t been getting along with breakfast for some time and I aim to rework that this year. Join me in my quest to find 52 Fresh Breakfast Ideas that don’t leave me feeling heavy or my family still hungry. We may revisit dishes you already know or find some new favorites but my goal for 2014 is a new appreciation for breakfast.

For this week’s Breakfast Wrap I thought I would reprint a hefty Breakfast from the past that sounds kind of delicious right now.

These days we eat light and on the run (mostly). A bar here, a smoothie there. But back in the day they knew how to pack it in. Yes my husband was drooling over this breakfast.

We won’t be seeing this on our breakfast table any time soon…well maybe bits and pieces spread apart but certainly not all at once!

Tell me what you think…
