The Extra Benefits of Homeschool

This entry is part 1 of 5 in the series 5 Days of More Than Just Homeschool

I love homeschooling. I love having my daughter with me and watching her grow through the years.  It’s been a great fit for us on so many levels besides learning to Read, Write, and do good Math.

I won’t say it’s all been a bowl of rose petals but it really works for our family and our daughter is thriving with this method of schooling.

As I was walking into the room where we school the other day I had this sudden realization of all the ways that homeschooling has been so wonderful and a blessing in our home.

Do you ever have those moments? When you’re hit with such clarity about something?

I feel like there are so many good things that come out of being able to homeschool. It’s about so more than just the basic schoolwork.

We can sometimes get bogged down in the drudgery of worksheets and tests, in the tasks of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s that we can’t see the beautiful forest for the individual trees.

I want to talk about those trees of homeschooling this week in my mini-series.

5 Days of More than just Home Schooling

We’ll cover some of the ways homeschooling can be a blessing beyond the basics not only to your growing student but also to the whole family.

If you struggle with getting the book work done my hope is that this series will inspire to see that what you are doing is so much more.

Several other homeschool moms are blogging about homeschool topics near and dear to their heart this week as part of the  5 Days of Homeschool …   2018 Annual Spring Blog Hop
