Turn Your Shower into a Spa with a Shower DIffuser
What do you do to wake up in the morning? A good shower is always on the agenda for me and works wonders for waking me. Another thing I would love though is to add some custom essential oils to my showers.
And honestly I didn’t know I could actually do that! I had thought I would just run my regular diffuser in the bathroom but did you know there are diffusers made specifically for the shower? I didn’t!
Recently Shower Diffuser reached out to see if I wanted to try their product.
About Shower Diffuser
I had never heard of such a thing as a Shower Diffuser before but immediately I thought of my headaches and if this could help so I agreed.
The Shower Diffuser is a waterproof diffuser by Oasis Diffusers that attaches to the wall of your shower. It contains to areas where you can directly attach essential oil bottles. It’s run by AA batteries.
After unpacking my Shower Diffuser I read the instructions carefully to make sure I made no mistakes. Attaching the diffuser to the wall was really easy and I’m impressed that 3 weeks later it is still as firmly attached as at the first.
Using the Shower Diffuser
Sometimes, during the Spring, Fall, and on rainy days after a heat wave I can wake from a good night’s sleep with a pounding headache. These aren’t fun and it can take a while in the morning for me to recover. One of the things in my morning recovery repertoire is a hot shower. The steam of the shower opens up my sinuses and helps to relieve the pressure for welcome relief.
I attached two different bottles of Lavender Essential oil to my Shower Diffuser. Just to let you know I’m not loyal to one particular Essential Oils brand and have several I enjoy. Since the documentation says the diffuser can hold three different sizes 5ml, 10ml & 15ml bottles. I wanted to try this out myself. It’s simple to insert the wick and insert the bottles securely into the diffuser.
The diffuser turns on with a little button in the middle of the machine. Not hard to find with soap in your eyes. The essential oils are diffused out full strength into the steam of your shower. They are not overpowering though. My documentation states that after a while even if you don’t smell them the effects are still there. The scent is very light in the shower. I have to be pretty close to it to smell. My shower head puts me at about a foot and a half away. With all the steam, shampoo, and soap the scent is muted.
My thoughts
How happy I am to be able to use my Shower Diffuser to add essential oils to my shower. I’ve been using Lavender only so far. I also know that Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Rosemary, and a few others will be helpful.
The Shower Diffuser arrived quickly transforms your shower into a SPA in seconds by simply sticking it to your shower wall & inserting any brand of essential oils.
