Happy Monday!

Oh my there is a lot going on this week!

First let’s talk about the Make One Freeze One Challenge from MyFreezEasy.

This is totally free and a great way to try out the MyFreeEastservice AND fill your freezer. The Challenge starts today and goes thought the week. You pick a menu plan and each night you’ll cook double putting one in the freezer and eating one that night. You can register and get your menu plan (free remember) here => Make One Freeze One Challenge

If you’ve read my review and are interested in giving the service a go but can’t spare the dough (ooh that rhymes) this is a GREAT way to try it out. Erin has videos and all kinds of help to get you get started and help you fill your freezers.

You can’t control the price of food. You can’t control inflation.

But you CAN control how you shop, what you buy, how much you spend, and what you do with the food once you get home.

The Knife Skills FREE Class is Open!

And while you’re at it make sure you get the kids involved helping you out in the kitchen. The FREE Knife Skills Class is up and open .

You know that is the most time consuming chore in the kitchen. Chopping all those onions, peppers, and carrots. Let Katie teach your kids how to do it and pass that extra detail off to them.

It’s also a good way to see if the Kid’s Cook Real Food eCourse might be something you want to pick up for your kids. we used it this summer with some neighborhood friends. It was so nice to have the kids cooking together and then sitting down to the fruits of their labors!

You can view that here >>FREE Knife Skills Class

And finally. I’m on a Swiss Roll Cake binge. I stumbled across this little youtube video where Mi is making an swiss-roll-cakeeasy roll cake. I had been wanting to make one of these and her recipe and method were so doable I made one that night!

We (I get input from the fan) filled it with whipped coconut cream. I had some issues whipping one brand can of milk so I had to move on to a different brand (I had two in the cupboard). Apparently this is a thing so I had to do some quick online leaning about whipping coconut milk and which brands whip best.

Here is an article on whipping coconut milk. And here is an article where you can  learn about which canned coconut milks whip well and which do not!

Oh wait I almost forgot.

Today is the last day to get $10 off your registration of the 2016 Homemaking Ministries Homemaking Conference. I’ve gotten a seak peak at the conference topics and it will be motivation and encouraging for sure! I’m going to pat you on the back here and say if you’ve been needing that Titus 2 woman to sit down with you, hold your hand and go over all your homemaking, mothering, wiferly (I know it’s not a word) details with you giving you tips and encouraging you this is it! Get it at $10 off today only!
